Shipping & Returns
We usually ship UPS, but some small items and international orders go through the USPS. In any case, we will provide all relevant tracking info at the time of shipping. Domestic shipping on items smaller than wheels and frames will cost you $10. Larger items will cost more, depending on where you live and the size and value of the order.
Almost any item can be returned to us for a refund or store credit or straight exchange provided the returned item is in new condition with the original packaging and that the item was originally purchased from HC. Customer pays the return shipping, unless the return is a result of a mistake we made. Some items like quill stems and seatposts get scratched up during installation, and we can't accept returns on these if they've been installed. Brooks saddles start to break-in when they get ridden the first time. Therefore, we can't accept returns on Brooks saddles unless they are absolutely pristine. Clothing that has been worn for more than five minutes is no longer new, and will not be accepted for return. All bike sales are final, and no returns or exchanges of bikes are allowed unless there is some warranty issue that requires the bike to be returned or exchanged. The best thing to do is to call us, and we can figure out the best way to proceed should you decide to return anything you bought from HC.
